• When did Guard All Install your security system?

We started the project at the beginning of November 2004. The major installations were completed 3 months after in February 2005. The project is still on-going.

• What kind of security system did you have installed?

The one thing that was done immediately was to update our existing CCTV system from analog to digital.  That was basically phase 1 of this project.  The 2nd phase was putting an extra 50+ cameras, some pan tilt zooms and some cameras were fixed.  Including in this project was putting a new control center to maximize monitoring of the whole premises.

A big part of this project was the integration of the Hirsch Access Control System.  All the access points are highly secured, only allowing authorized people to go through.

• What are the positive benefits gained from having a Guard-All Security System?

Tangibly speaking, we can spot problems before they occur from the control room.  And now that all employees know that they are being monitored and all the information is recorded, it reduces the amount of pilferage.  The productivity rate of the employees has increased since we've utilized all the CCTV cameras around the perimeter.

In regards to the Hirsch Access Control System, we are able to keep unauthorized and unwanted people away from the executive offices.  This system also gives our portfolios and planners a very good visual perspective of what is going on in the port.  This is also a very good marketing tool for ICTSI.

• Since ICTSI is fairly new project, are you considering an After Sales Service and Maintenance contract?

This is something we are looking into now, and it's our intention to do so.

• If ICTSI does sign up for Guard-All's After sales service and maintenance contract, how do you think this will be beneficial?

Well, I am a firm believer that you get into business doing what you know best.  It doesn't make any sense to buy a multi-million dollar system without acquiring the after sales maintenance service from the same provider.  We've been burnt badly before with our old CCTV system, where we tried fixing the system ourselves, and so right now, the idea was to get a service provider whom we can trust to handle everything.

• If you were to give a sales pitch about Guard-All, what would you say?

Well, first of all, I would say that I am very happy with the professionalism I received from Guard-All.  The ability to constructively discuss changes is very important and vital to the success of the project.  I always got straight answers on what the top products are, and what was best suitable for ICTSI.  I must say that the quality of the products are excellent.

When did Guard-All install your security system?

This was installed in 1999.

• What was the driving force that made Nestle acquire a security system?

Mainly because of the conceptual design of S.O.M.  (Skipmore, Owing, Merril) our Chicago based architects.  Part of the concept was to have a similar security system as to what they have in Chicago.

• Has the system proved efficient for the purpose it was required?

Yes, it has been very efficient.  As far as the security protection of Nestle is concerned, the system is just working fine.

• What are the positive benefits gained from having a Guard-All Security System?

Well, first of all, it's the after sales and maintenance service.  For any installed system, it's the after sales management that is critical.  You may have a good marketing strategy, but all that is useless if you do not provide an after sales service.

• So it seems like you're very happy with the After Sales and Maintenance service of Guard-All Electronic Security Systems, Inc.?

Very much so.  If we were not happy, we would not have stuck around with Guard-All for 6 years now.

• If you were to give a sales pitch about Guard-All Electronic Security Systems, Inc., what would you say?

I would say that Guard-All is very reliable and dependable.  I would share the experiences I had with the technical expertise of all the staff, and the success of the after sales and maintenance service of Guard-All.
